ABSTRACT

A long-span steel-concrete composite beam bridge is a continuous beam bridge with 83.5 m + 135 m + 98.5 m. This paper combines the characteristics of site construction, in order to ensure the smooth installation of steel-concrete composite beam section. Based on the actual situation on site, we explored and developed a series of construction technologies such as fabrication, transportation, hoisting, jacking, and installation of composite beams. The temporary support is set up to ensure smooth sliding, and the construction stage is divided to ensure that the lower part can be navigable and the upper part can be hoisted during construction, overcoming the difficulty of smooth hoisting on water. The application results show that the method of splitting, hoisting, installing, and welding the composite beam segments by sliding makes each beam segment smoothly installed in place. Compared with the traditional construction method, it reduces the complex construction process, reduces the difficulty of beam connection, speeds up the construction progress, and also ensures the quality of beam connection.
