ABSTRACT
Ancient villages are an important carrier of regional culture, among which the island's ancient villages are facing the situation of becoming barren or over-commercialized development due to the particularity of the geographical region. Therefore, in order to implement the rural revitalization strategy, and inherit and innovate the local traditional culture, it is particularly important to carry out the organic, ecological transformation of the island's ancient buildings. We should base ourselves on national policies, creatively inherit traditional culture, promote the development of island culture and tourism, and combine local actual conditions to achieve sustainable development of island ancient buildings.
