ABSTRACT

In view of the serious mobility and dispersion of running automobiles, relatively fixed road materials can be combined with photocatalysts to purify automobile exhaust and improve the road environment. This paper describes the research status of road photocatalytic materials and related road performance tests in asphalt pavement at home and abroad according to three aspects: the modification of road photocatalytic exhaust gas degradation materials, the distribution and degradation test methods of road pollutants, and the comprehensive road performance of photocatalytic composites. Based on the characteristics of road engineering, research on the preparation and modification methods of composite photocatalyst materials for road use will provide a useful reference for the application of photocatalyst materials in road engineering.
