ABSTRACT

Development is the prime agenda of the present living, and indeed it is very important to see whether people are getting development in their lives or not. Various factors are driving humans in this connection when all those are composing it at the ultimate level of being progressed. Education is such a component here which has an in-depth connection with realizing the facts and facets of the development consideration. Since the historical periods, humans have grown up to this modern time just with the strength of education. Therefore, it can be said that education can never be stopped or hampered due to any reason. Governmental policies and non-governmental efforts have made the path of education for acquiring the supreme position for human’s positive change. In the Corona time especially, the said has got some disturbance in itself as because it is not possible now to remain like the previous. The system of education in India has always given utmost importance to the synchronous type of education where direct physical contact could be possible between the students and the teachers. It was the usual nature of imparting education. Now at the time of the pandemic cultural change has occurred all across the globe. The synchronous type of education is not feasible now, and the same can be said about the Indian educational 288perspective. The synchronous type of education was given a scenario in the nation where the gender gap was highly pertinent. As per the report of the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (2017), the 15+ literacy for males was 78.8%, and for females, it was 59.3%, so proper unbiased education could not be observed at the higher education level. It was due to infrastructural inadequacy to the cultural backlog for which both genders were not taking equal growth. This chapter will try to see about the asynchronous type of education if it can really be helpful for diminishing the gender gap. The study will be divided into two sections where the previously done research works will be discussed, and then the real-life experiences will be elaborated. By accumulating knowledge from these two dimensions, the study will check with the constrictions, and then the required solutions will be told in the form of suggestive measures. The cultural changes will be used as the required steps for adopting the basic understanding to work upon in further time.
