ABSTRACT

This research aims to identify various aspects of digital learning (DL) and its impact on teachers and students. The major concepts of this topic, advantages, and disadvantages, all have been addressed here. The major impact of this learning pattern has been identified here so that a gainful insight can be obtained. This is Quantitative research that has focused on the primary sources of data. Random cluster sampling was done to select the samples for the research. The first cluster of samples is students, and the second cluster of samples is academic institutions. Regression and inferential statistics were done to measure the dependency between the variables. A survey was done on the samples by using two different questionnaires. Students are getting engaged with academic activities due to digital education. Despite getting engaged in academic activities, the cognitive capabilities of students are getting reduced with time. Besides, academic institutions found face-to-face interactions are more effective in understanding students’ perceptions rather than digital communication. The study focuses on four questions associated 304with the students’ and teachers’ perceptions of digital education. Both the good as well as bad aspects of digital education are identified in this study. It was also addressed that in some cases, like understanding students’ perception and enhancing cognitive capabilities of students, digital education is not effective enough compared to offline mode of education.
