ABSTRACT
Today Digitalization is now concomitant component of our life. It has invaded our life in several ways and has ensured that we remain engulfed in the digital world. For example offices are operated from homes and online education is a reality. Higher educational institutions play a crucial role in the progress and development of the country. The government initiatives for digital India program is reaping benefits. The chapter deals with the aspects of what constitutes digital education. In particular the chapter covers the basic architecture of digital India program and its impact on digital education and its focus on the sustainability of digital India program.
