ABSTRACT
COVID-19, as a global pandemic, has caused serious complications increasing mortality rate and chaos in the medical field all around the globe. The first and foremost step in fighting this disease was preventive measures and immunity boosting. Healthcare workers and health professionals including surgeons, doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and psychiatrist had a major role to play in controlling and eradicating this infection from the world. Researchers applied their findings in preventing the spread through the US Center of disease control and prevention. Worldwide lockdowns and medical care were applied to control the spread, all through the help and guidelines of health professionals. In the way of preventing and curing this disease while vaccine is still on the run-in various countries, healthcare workers had to go through various challenges and issues regarding availability of resources and medical awareness of the society. Many health workers, who previously had no idea about dealing with a pandemic, also got experience and lesson from the ongoing pandemic.
