ABSTRACT

In a few months, the COVID-19 outbreak had spread globally. The growing number of individuals with this condition presents significant problems to existing health care systems. This pandemic has wreaked havoc. This chapter summarizes current research on using science and computational intelligence (CI) to fight COVID-19 infection. Researchers now evaluate COVID-19 data and derive insights using AI, IoT, deep learning, neural networks, Fuzzy, and machine learning techniques. These measures assist policymakers and frontline workers in preventing the viral spread and controlling epidemics. Researchers advise using AI and IoT to fight the epidemic and follow the government’s rules. Since face-to-face healthcare consultations are restricted due to the COVID-19 epidemic, alternative information technologies like 282telemedicine and smartphones are becoming more important. Smartphone and telemedicine technologies have tremendous potential in the present COVID-19 epidemic. It will play a vital part in the future of health medicine, patient referral, consulting, ergonomics, and many more expanded uses of health care as smartphone technology improves.
