ABSTRACT
We report here the preliminary results of a TEM study aimed to assess the extent to which the microstructure beneath an oxidation scale formed on a γ/γ’ alloy is modified when the material contains rhenium and, in turn, whether or not any such sub-scale modifications are different when the oxidation takes place during creep.
