ABSTRACT
For wave-seabed interactions, many numerical approaches have been proposed and their codes have been developed. Numerical calculations have many advantages, as do the model experiments presented in the previous chapters. This chapter describes the role of numerical calculations (Section 5.1), the flow of development and advancement of numerical calculation methodologies (Section 5.2), a model that simultaneously solves the fluid flow outside and inside the porous media (Section 5.3), a model that is classified as particle method (Section 5.4), and a model that is classified as grid method (Section 5.5).
