ABSTRACT
Taking Hainan Province as the background, this paper investigates, studies, and tests the noise value of the bridge expansion joint when vehicles pass by. The investigation form of “field test + theoretical analysis” is adopted to fully collect the noise value. Through the measured test data and rigorous theoretical analysis, the noise problems caused by the existing expansion joints are explored, targeted improvement suggestions are put forward, and new noise reduction expansion joints are developed to further improve the noise reduction mechanism of bridge expansion joints and people's life quality.
