ABSTRACT
The foundation of a turbo-generator carries the core equipment of the power plant, and its dynamic performance is particularly important. In order to save cost and reduce material consumption, a new foundation for steam turbine-generator sets is put forward in this paper. The finite element model of the new foundation and the original foundation is established by ABAQUS, and the vibration analysis is carried out. The vibration displacement of the new foundation is reduced within the frequency range of the generator set, which can ensure the safe operation of the generator set. Then the seismic response analysis is carried out, and it is concluded that the new foundation has good seismic performance.
