ABSTRACT

The transient electromagnetic method, seismic refraction tomography method, and ground penetrating radar method are used to detect urban geological problems such as buried faults and surface subsidence. The geological conditions in the surveyed area are introduced. The abnormal areas in the detection results of various geophysical methods are relatively consistent, and the local abnormal points are proven to be accurate and reliable after drilling. The results show that the comprehensive detection method combining geophysical exploration and drilling exploration can improve the accuracy of urban geological surveys. Among them, the transient electromagnetic method has a good effect on the detection of concealed structures. The refraction chromatography method is suitable for the detection of large underground cavities, and ground penetrating radar (GPR) results can reflect the existence of an area that is not compact, a void area, and a cavity area in the shallow underground.
