ABSTRACT
In comparison to conventional energy systems, renewable energy systems provide various advantages and benefits. Due to a dearth of conventional energy resources, the world is moving toward renewable energy systems at a faster pace. Before considering renewable energy systems as a sustainable alternative to conventional energy systems, a few essential aspects need to be studied, which are beneficial to understand the value of renewable energy systems. The study aims to identify and evaluate these key aspects using existing research. However, due to ambiguity, these aspects may be equally or unequally influential. As a result, the article uses multi-criteria decision-making to evaluate these aspects according to their significance.
