ABSTRACT

There is a lack of qualified medical and non-medical staff in the health sector. For cloud-based healthcare monitoring systems that rely on conventional WAN technologies, LoRa offers the potential to minimise the number of access points and power consumption in densely populated urban regions. Substitution, whether costly or affordable, can significantly lessen the load on the medical sectors. Nonetheless, those platforms and applications significantly decreased the strain of medical practitioners. To lessen the workload of non-medical workers or, in some cases, to replace the human effort with artificial intelligence, a smart and reasonably priced system based on the IoT-SCADA (Internet of Things-Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system can be developed and deployed using smart sensors, smart devices and LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) networking.
