ABSTRACT

Cloud computing is the most significant technology in the current dynamic area in information technology. It is known to be flexible, extensible and cost effectual in information technology operations which have made the media and the analysts to look around towards it. As well as it affords various approaches that manipulates the extensive range of organizational requirements by offering convincingly scalable servers and various applications. Cloud computing also establishes a new paradigm, and facilitates use of information storage for its users to with ability to create dynamic applications which can be accessed from anywhere by the internet. Cloud utilizes different storage services where data is distantly maintained, overseen and backed up. This facility can concede the end users to stores their data online. So that users can access the data from anywhere and any location using the internet. The benefits of using cloud storage are usability, accessibility, bandwidth disaster recovery, cost saving.

Utilizing a cloud environment raises several problems, chief among them being security and privacy. A third party provides the cloud’s infrastructure control and data storage. Risk of sensitive data being given to cloud service provider can occur occasionally. Because of this, users always need useful, secure data storage. Here, the privacy and security of cloud data storage are primarily the focus. To protect the data, many algorithms and techniques are used. One of the most exciting aspects of data security technology is encryption. When if any algorithm is used to protecting data during transfer from one user to another, the data content is translated into a seemingly meaningless ciphertext, it is unreadable form.
