ABSTRACT
Mobility impairment is one among the distressful disabilities, which almost ceases the ability to move around freely. Wheelchairs are considered among the better assistive devices that aid people with physical and mental disorders. This mobility aid minimizes the efforts of any individual to push the wheelchair, with the adaptation of robotic mechanization brought to use in the field of rehabilitative medicine. According to the developing technology, wheelchairs are developed from manual to automated and infused with monitoring sensors, IoT, comforts, and varied mobility controls. This paper reviews all the possible tech features upgraded so far and that are yet to be included shortly.
