Telemedicine is a process of treating the patients by means of telecommunications. It helps to deliver the healthcare services overcoming the distance and able to connect patient and doctor through technology. Considering the geographic and demographic segment of India, providing In-person healthcare was challenging during the Covidl9 pandemic. But with the advancements in technology, and introduction of telemedicine, reaching the heath care to the rural places of the country has become easy. In the absence of physical doctors and with revised telemedicine guidelines, most of the people started availing this service. As its use had increased, it is necessary to understand the people experience on availing this service. So, the current research focuses on building a sentiment analysis, based on the Indian patient feedback available in telemedicine applications, providing a scope to understand the patient experience about telemedicine. The research also focuses on calculating the polarity of the patient feedback using sentiment score. Based on the finding a set of recommendations are provided in overcoming the hurdles among people. In addition, it also explores the opportunities and challenges of telemedicine in India.
