ABSTRACT
The current chapter describes an in-depth understanding of various surface properties of the antibacterial nature of biomaterials and their adhesive properties with tissues. We focused on surface charge, wettability, roughness/topology, and polarity to understand the behaviors. Following this, we discussed briefly surface modification techniques to improve their properties.
