ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to completely transform the way healthcare is managed by raising patient satisfaction, better clinical outcomes, and reducing costs. Furthermore, AI presents a significant help for disease diagnosis and prediction, medication discovery, medical imaging analysis, electronic health record administration, and personalised medicine. AI has the potential to completely change the healthcare sector, but its use must be properly controlled to protect patient privacy and safety. The management of healthcare has already benefited significantly from artificial intelligence. The analysis of massive datasets is one area where AI is having an impact. AI can examine enormous volumes of patient data to find trends and forecast outcomes using machine learning techniques. Hence, this chapter presents an overview of the applications of AI in healthcare management. In addition, it also covers the difficulties and moral issues surrounding the use of AI in healthcare.
