ABSTRACT

Several development models and terminology, such as smart grid, net zero energy buildings (NZEB), and power to gas, have been implemented in many countries to create new methods and interpretations on how to construct upcoming sustainable power solutions using smart technologies. It is preeminent that the smart energy can play a pivotal role, because there is a necessity to incorporate synchronized renewable energy (RE) supplies into the grid and run grids more efficiently, taking into account a variety of factors such as resource consistency and power system security. The smart grid’s and sustainable energy’s connection relies upon data collection. The fusion of renewable energy and smart grid is the key challenge in the recent trend. The research is related to IoT and its effect on smart energy system which plays a vital role in today’s generation. These works explored in this book chapter are the concepts that are generally established and implemented within the confines of macro and micro, resulting in a common framework that cannot 2be completely comprehended or analyzed until correctly put in the scope of the total energy system.
