ABSTRACT
With the availability of wireless technology, the Internet of Things (IoT) has evolved into a cutting-edge paradigm. The use of communication technology is expanding quickly and producing many remarkable outcomes. The most fascinating area of study in wireless technology is the fifth generation or 5G. The development of IoT technology results in the emergence of numerous applications and solutions that benefit mankind. The vision of IoT that includes the coming digital revolution is presented in this chapter. After conducting a survey, the analytical criteria for various wireless technologies are provided in this chapter. The assessment that has been done presents a new study topic and future research direction in enabling wireless technologies, which will be useful for both industry and academia and overcome those challenges by offering solutions appropriately. The findings will aid and provide direction for further research on wireless communication techniques for the IoT in the era of 5G.
