ABSTRACT

Industry 4.0 efforts have been made to use artificial intelligence (AI)-based approaches for a variety of modern cybersecurity applications. Cybersecurity and artificial intelligence overlap in a variety of transdisciplinary fields. Because of this, there is a growing need for in-depth knowledge of the scope and significance of applications based on AI along with the difficulties they provide. In this study, we propose that cybersecurity necessitates the development of novel AI methods tailored to particular applications. This chapter aims to provide one of the most promising approaches for combating cybersecurity risks and providing security in AI. Here, we examine the potential of AI in enhancing cybersecurity solutions by highlighting its potential for future research in the realm of cybersecurity related to the development of AI approaches across many application domains. Lastly, it is shown that AI has emerged as a critical tool for curbing assaults in the field of cybersecurity as the pace and sophistication of assaults are increasing.
