ABSTRACT

As a form of degenerative arthritis, Knee Osteoarthritis is the most prevalent, resulting in the deterioration and degeneration of soft tissue and connective tissue. Knee arthroplasty is supported by a rehabilitation programme of physiotherapy and exercises. During the hospital stay, physical therapy concentrates on movement and independence from the bedside in a hospital. Gait analysis using external skin markers was used in the United States that provided a method to study kinematics and thus determine kinetic parameters on various total knee arthroplasty. This method requires collection and proper analysis of collected data based on optimum algorithms. In the current environment, sensor-based technology that can assist physicians and patients while also playing a significant role in the healthcare system is needed.
