ABSTRACT

In this study, information is given about new normal policies, regulations and strategies in tourism industry and the importance of viewpoint of a new tourism. Tourism industry is one of the most fragile and flexible sectors in economy. In addition to this, the tourism industry is a social integration because tourism means person. The tourism industry which is a fragile and flexible sector, needs new strategies to deal with unexpected situations. Especially in the COVID-19 epidemic process, the negative effects of epidemics on tourism industry can be decreased with the new tourism strategies and regulations. The adaptation to new strategies usually provides competitive advantage in sector. At the same time, new products such as virtual travel in tourism arise with the new strategies. It is very difficult both to protect people from epidemics and to develop the tourism sector. The aim of the study is to reveal determination of opportunities and threats, new normal policies, strategies, and regulation in the epidemic process.
