ABSTRACT

The research examines how effective safety management is in the building sector. This research was conducted to provide insight into the topic of construction site safety. To achieve this, a field survey was conducted with a representative sample of local construction industry experts working in an area with a high density of ongoing building projects. The data were collected using structured questionnaires, and the findings were tallied to display the breakdown of responses. The results demonstrate that construction professionals understand that the scope of their operations affects their capacity to adhere to health and safety laws. According to the poll, there is a significant problem with accidents and injuries in the construction sector in Gujarat. Therefore, the results provide insight into the policy for implementing workplace safety. In light of these findings, it is clear that the construction sector in Gujarat needs stricter regulation and greater levels of inspection to ensure worker health and safety.
