ABSTRACT

Today it is very difficult to achieve work-life balance in our life. Every employee is facing a dilemma to handle the ideal work-life balance in their personal and professional life. There are various challenges for medical professionals like global competition, personal life/family values and an aging workforce, changing technology, handling shift duty and family at a time. Attrition rate and employee engagement are the present challenges that exacerbate work-life balance of medical professionals. Therefore there is a need to study in detail about medical professionals. The factors influencing work-life balance of healthcare sector and the challenges to maintaining the work-life balance to improve work performance is been studied in this paper. Primary and secondary data are used. To analyze the data Descriptive statistics have been used. Responses have been collected from medical staff of hospitals.
