ABSTRACT

Women in tribal communities can overcome obstacles in life, and they have done so from the dawn of time, but their lack of financial resources makes it difficult for them to progress. It can be eliminated if credit is made readily available to destitute indigenous women. Self Help Groups (SHGs) have emerged as the most successful programs for eradicating poverty and empowering women, particularly among the most vulnerable members of society. Moreover, the adoption of digital infrastructure may turn the situation around as it has been succeeding to do so in many micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to determine if SHGs with digital support help achieve the first three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include eradicating poverty, no hunger, and promoting good health and well-being. According to qualitative research, digital intervention in SHGs can help with SDG fulfillment.
