ABSTRACT

With the progress of science and technology, mobile devices are becoming increasingly popular. Consumers’ dependence on smart devices is growing as well. TikTok has risen with this wave and has won the number one download in the world for four consecutive years. With over one billion users worldwide, short videos have become a trend on the Internet trend. At the same time, a large amount of information and AI technology lead to an increase in false information and fraud. Information security issues are very important in the Internet age. The research intends to explore how the trust of generation X, Y, and Z users in audio-visual information affects user satisfaction and willingness to use. The study used an online questionnaire for investigation and conducted sampling to study factors such as source credibility, information credibility, personal identity, professionalism, trustworthiness, and degree of liking. Analyzing the correlation between the information credibility of short videos and audio, user satisfaction, and usage intention of different generations. The research seeks to clarify the needs and preferences of users from different generations and provide more precise reference suggestions for short video creators in the future.
