ABSTRACT

Artificial intelligence (AI) has strong logical reasoning ability and independent learning ability, and it can simulate the human brain’s thinking process. AI could expedite the discovery of new materials, which would significantly accelerate drug development. The use of AI in chemistry has grown dramatically in recent years. We investigated the growth and distribution of AI-related chemistry in this chapter. Computational technology has a broad range of applications, from molecular modeling to the simulation and control of chemical processes. The strong logical reasoning skills and independent learning capabilities of AI allow it to simulate the way in which the human brain thinks. AI might enhance the discovery of new materials, which would significantly advance the development of pharmaceuticals. The literature review of several research papers and other publications that offer in-depth work and recent study demonstrates the influential usage of AI in various pharmaceutical sectors, including medication discovery & development, manufacturing, and marketing.
