ABSTRACT

The collision between ship and bridge pier is a nonlinear dynamic response process, which include the influence of fluid. In this paper, a fluid-structure coupling model of ship-bridge collision considering the influence of external fluid field is established by using ALE method with a 3000-ton ship as the research object. The influence of external fluid field on the dynamic response of ship-bridge collision is analyzed, and the impact parameters such as impact velocity, impact angle, ship load and flow velocity on the impact response of ship-bridge collision are studied. The results show that when the impact velocity is less than the fluid velocity, the fluid field has a slightly impact on the collision force.
