ABSTRACT

A blockchain is a public ledger that is open to the public and not controlled by any one organization. It is a technology that enables open and honest collaboration between individuals and corporations. Cryptographic currencies like Bitcoin and others are among the most well-known blockchain applications, but there is a wide range of other uses that are as feasible. The next major shift in information technology is being driven by this technology. Today, there are numerous blockchain technology (BCT) implementations that are generally accessible, each with a unique strength for a certain application domain. Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), which offer fresh phases of crowd coordination by eliminating trust and fault problems, are built on the blockchain.
