ABSTRACT
An aircraft is a flying machine supported for flight by the dynamic action of air on its surfaces, such as airplanes, gliders, and helicopters. A normal aircraft flight would include several stages in its flight mission profile, including taxi, take-off, ascend, cruise, descent, approach, and landing [1]. The complete flight profile for aircraft is illustrated in Figure 9.1.
