ABSTRACT
The Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra, focuses on holistically promoting the survival, protection, development, welfare, and participation of women and children in society and the economy. Towards this goal, the Chief Minister (CM) Dashboard, Maharashtra, is created to give a complete bird’s eye view to the honourable chief minister of Maharashtra and state officials working in various departments of the state government regarding the health and disability indicators of women and children living in the state of Maharashtra. The dashboard helped in monitoring the key performance indicators defined for each department and its respective initiatives, and thereafter categorised into situational and department reports. Daily and monthly status reports and comprehensive graphic reports are generated for further insight. Insights generated from the dashboard helped the government to plan better and more targeted schemes and policies that combat these specific disabilities in specific districts.
