ABSTRACT

Neurological disorders are recognized as disorders related to the brain and its neural connectivity to the environment. The worldwide prevalence of brain disorders is estimated to affect approximately 1 in 6 people. This statistic raises significant concerns, as brain disorders often give rise to chronic disabilities that may manifest during an individual’s early years. Neurological disorders can be caused by 124a variety of toxic and metabolic derangements and due to various physical insults, which involve a wide spectrum of mechanisms. Therefore, the present chapter throws light on various factors that could potentially lead to the development of neurodegenerative disorders.
