ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book aims to explore the modern technology-based functioning of the organization for Human Resource (HR) sustainability. It covers the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing the efficiency of HR processes and how HR analytics can help to predict various data functions for effective people management at the workplace. The book then discusses the impact of the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) on human resource management functions and the feedback mechanisms for its sustainability. It also examines how organizations have started embracing AI technology for smart recruitment where many mid-level sector organizations are still dependent on referrals.
