ABSTRACT

Artificial intelligence (AI) is considered the most promising and dynamic technology of the present era, revolutionizing the lives of humans and significantly impacting nearly every aspect of business. Many technological advancements have driven firms to improve their value-creation processes. The fundamental goal of this study will look critically at the impact of AI on Human Resource management functions, particularly in the area of recruitment and selection in businesses. The study aims to focus on AI’s capabilities and how they affect the selection and recruitment process. The researcher has also used external secondary data (articles and papers) to highlight some of the conclusions of the impact of AI capabilities on the recruitment and selection of employees. Researcher finds that AI has the potential to favourably influence the recruitment and selection process, resulting in benefits such as time and cost savings, accuracy and the removal of bias.
