ABSTRACT

The conditions of homes for remote work employees in the quaternary sector have had during the period of confinement imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico are analyzed. A scale is developed, validated, and applied to 1026 workers in the quaternary sector in 27 states of the Mexican Republic. The results allow for analyzing the emotional, financial, space, privacy, and furniture conditions in which people are carrying out remote work, as well as areas of opportunity to prevent effects on health and work productivity.
