ABSTRACT
The digital transformation has greatly enhanced management of diabetes, combining with sensor technology, data analytics, efficient communication technology, and smart data analytics. This chapter reviews recent developments in embedded intelligence, including the various embedded computational frameworks, embedded devices, sensors, and applications for diabetic health monitoring. The chapter provides an overview of the most significant developments in important areas related to wearable and implantable technology, including biosensing, wearable biosensing, AI biosensing, data processing, and the intelligence decision system.
