ABSTRACT

In order to explore the distribution characteristics and engineering properties of soft soils in typical cities in the Great Bay area, we searched to collect the geotechnical test data of the surveyed soft soils of actual projects in the Great Bay area. Combined with relevant research results, we analyzed the causes of special engineering properties of soft soils in the Great Bay area. Then, we summarized the distribution law and physical and mechanical index characteristics of soft soils in typical cities in the Great Bay area using mathematical and statistical methods. We revealed the engineering properties of soft soils, which can be used for the development and construction of the Great Bay area. It can provide some theoretical basis and reference for the development and construction of the Great Bay Area.
