ABSTRACT
What choices should autonomous vehicle systems (AVS) make when they are faced in moral dilemma situations? Various research in both academic and industry has been conducted to construct an ethical framework for these autonomous systems. However, there are still ongoing discussions on the ethics and concerns of such systems. This chapter aims to explore and discuss in-depth of the current and advances in ethical issues and framework, both from an internal and external perspective of the AVS.
