ABSTRACT

The expansion of information and communication technology in the 21st century is increasing the use of digital devices in the workplace and in formal and non-formal education for a variety of purposes. M-learning (mobile-based learning) is a type of learning that allows students to access learning materials from anywhere and at any time using mobile technology and the internet in this digital age. M-learning refers to a variety of methods for students to learn or stay connected to their learning environments, such as classmates, instructors, and instructional resources. A mobile-based learning system removes geographic barriers and allows students and teachers to collaborate in a learning environment. M-learning is characterised by its pervasive nature, the portability of mobile technologies, blended learning, private learning, interactive and collaborative learning, and instant information (Ozdamlia, Cavus 2011). M-learning is one of the pioneering technologies that has played a key role in combating the spread of the COVID-19 virus on a global scale. The use of m-learning in the COVID-19 age presents a number of opportunities and challenges. M-learning is one of the practical methods for continuing the educational process in a digital and trendy manner. M-learning for education has far-reaching significance for how students and teachers engage in educational settings.
