ABSTRACT

In the 21st century, we need quality education to develop new human resources for the development of our country. Only through quality education can we ensure the sustainable development of our present society. In this era, teachers are giving importance to the activity-based classroom, where teachers need to play different roles such as facilitator, planner, organiser, implementer, instructor, evaluator, etc., and it increases the workload of the teacher. At the same time, teachers also need to take care of new technological development that is taking place around the world. Among them, artificial intelligence (AI) is one option, and if it is used by the teacher, then it will reduce their workload. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen a rise in the use of different technological innovations where different AI is used for better engagement between teachers and students. Now we have access to several AI platforms that answer our questions, making our lives more convenient and easier. In this paper, the researchers talk about the present practices of AI that are taking place around the world in different aspects of education. We also discuss the practices of AI that have taken place in the context of fields other than education.
