ABSTRACT

Presently, many bicycle accidents that occur on the road result in death. People can get injured or even killed while cycling and one of the reasons is not wearing a helmet. Smart helmets have emerged as a revolutionary advancement in the realm of personal protective equipment (PPE), integrating state-of-the-art technologies to enhance safety, provide real-time data, and foster connectivity. These helmets are equipped with various sensors, wireless communication capabilities, and advanced features that go beyond the traditional purpose of protecting the head [1,2]. By leveraging the power of technology, smart helmets have the potential to significantly improve safety in a wide range of industries and activities, including construction, sports, and transportation [3].
