ABSTRACT
Expert systems have been widely used to enhance decision-making processes and outcomes in a variety of areas, including education, government, and healthcare. According to research, ESs can improve decision-making quality and efficiency while also providing access to experts; yet, they also face issues such as complexity, bias, expense, lack of flexibility, and lack of interoperability. Expert systems provide several advantages for better decision-making, including higher accuracy, efficiency, consistency, access to experience, and cost savings. The influence of expert systems on organizations has been researched, and it may be observed in the structure, decentralization, effectiveness, role content, leadership, power dynamics, communication and information flow, and people requirements of the company. Expert systems have a wide range of applications in education, including evaluating teacher effectiveness, providing career counseling, and training students to be successful professionals.
