ABSTRACT

This volume has only touched the tip of the iceberg with respect to the possibilities of analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning for enabling superior, patient-centred, high-value healthcare delivery to be realised for all. We trust that on reading this book you now have more questions than you had at the start, or as Albert Einstein once eloquently noted “The important thing is not to stop questioning.” It is only through questioning and refining that we can be sure we invoke continuous improvement and through imagination that we can truly develop appropriate solutions.
