ABSTRACT

In the past decade, the auto industry has grown at a remarkable rate, and the AV business has been growing at a remarkable rate as well. There is one aspect of creating a self-driving car that must be able to comprehend how the car interacts with other vehicles and other motorists in order for the car to be able to reason and execute the safest mobility plan. Modeling such behavior is complex and requires a number of variables such as demographic, the number of other motorists and context, cues, and so on. A uniform taxonomy will be suggested in this paper, which will provide a uniform general overview of traffic between pedestrians and bicycles. As a result of the three dimensional nature of this approach, it is based on vehicle motion prediction literature, i.e. from the perspective of the vehicle in motion, the technique, the type of output from the model, as well as situational awareness.
