ABSTRACT
Brain tumor is basically the growth of abnormal cells in brain which may be cancerous. Usually Brain Tumor is detected from the MRI Image; the growth of the tumor is identified. A tumor has to be detected before it gets dangerous for the human to handle either by MRI scans or CT. A new useful methodology has been proposed, which doctors surgeons, radiologist can use as secondary decision. The methodology which is proposed consists of four stages: Prepossessing dateset, SVM Segmentation, Morphological Operations for feature extraction our developed system can be very helpful on daily machines. A detailed research is done for detecting the tumor and its location from the MRI image. Morphological operations are used to extract the feature of tumor region. Further, new algorithms can gear up and make new innovative inventions and reduce the resource and increase the efficiency of the project.
