ABSTRACT
This chapter describes a personal account of a clinician working in an education and governance role and that of a Chartered Ergonomist coming together to understand the complexities of diagnostic pathways and services in modern health systems. It is a journey towards insight about the role of Human Factors and Ergonomics (HF/E) in the health sector and how we communicate across disciplines.
