ABSTRACT
Emergent behaviour in Systems of Systems may arise from the behaviours of the component systems, or from the dynamics of interaction between those component systems, or both. Here we present the InterDyne simulator, and our simulation method for exploring emergent behaviour that derives from interaction dynamics, and in particular for exploring emergent behaviour that derives from feedback loops between component systems. We begin with a motivation of interaction dynamics, and end with a case study in financial markets.
